Found an interesting group of small shops along the river...am told that if there is a treasure to be found in Matsumoto as far as gifts go, this is the place. This statue was the first thing I saw coming into the area!
Here is an example of the type of shops you will find...little storefronts with many handmade crafts...
Here is the river! Reminds me of Chicago in a way!
People can actually go down and sit by the water...feed the 2 ducks
I believe this is a restaurant..very pretty from the outside:)I found many interesting items as I peeked through each shop...may go back and purchase some!
