Had a short rehearsal today--Act 3 with the little kiddies.
Ozawa ran many things musically as the third act is somewhat chaotic and physically very active.
This is probably the first time I have repeated a role like this (since I was fortunate to have sung the Fox in a production at Lyric Opera of Chicago in 2004). Four years later the role brings on many new challenges---a tremendous learning experience for me. It makes me have even more respect and admiration for my colleagues who travel the globe, endure all kinds of climates, jet lag, etc., and still deliver a wonderful product! My hat is off to all of you!:)
